What We Do
For over two decades, Women on the Job has been “Working for Working Women’s
Rights” and has dedicated its’ advocacy and education energy towards achieving
equal employment opportunity for Long Island working women. On December 1, 2007,
Women on the Job became a project of the Long Island Fund for Women & Glrls.
This premier not-for-profit organization will continue to be a forceful voice
for change under the direction of the Fund as it works towards opening doors for
the advancement and equality of women in the workplace. By offering Long Island
women the resources, references and collective support of our Task Force
coalition, we hope to provide them with the necessary tools for solving problems
and finding new paths to progress in the workplace.
Our History
